Jarryd Hayne has sex assault retrial date set for March

Former NRL star Jarryd Hayne has been given a retrial date for his sexual assault case.

The trial has been set to begin on March 8 in Sydney, and go for two weeks.

Hayne, 32, was charged with two counts of aggravated sexual intercourse without consent recklessly inflicting actual bodily harm

He faced an initial trial last year, but it ended on December 7 after the jury was unable to reach a verdict following two days of deliberations.
