Idris sidelined for the season with knee injury

Penrith Panthers player Jamal Idris will sit out the rest of the season after rupturing a ligament in his knee.

In a weekend game against Manly, Idris suffered an ACL injury.

Teammate Peter Wallace was sidelined for surgery for an ongoing knee complaint while forward Elijah Taylor came off with a knee injury, and is expected to be sidelined for four to six weeks.
