Driver killed after car crashes into a tree
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash in Jam Jerrup, a small town in Bass Coast Shire
Emergency services were called to Jetty Road about 7.40pm.

Investigators believe the driver, believed to be a man in his 30s, lost control of the car which left the road and crashed into a tree.
The driver was the sole occupant and died at the scene.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
A 39-year-old man was also killed after being hit by a white Subaru about 11.25pm last night at Mudgegonga in Victoria's north east, with the driver uninjured and helping police with their investigation.
The deaths brings the number of fatalities in Victoria to 147, compared with 89 this time last year.
