Jackie O close to tears over marriage questions

Radio star Jackie O has been brought close to tears while being grilled by co-host Kyle Sandilands about times her marriage nearly failed. 

Sandilands was quizzing Jackie O Henderson on air about moving from Austereo to KIIS FM before the conversation switched gears this morning.

Henderson was asked to give honest answers to questions Sandilands was asking, and she did so when asked about her marriage.

"We've had times when we were going to call it quits," Henderson admitted.

"We went through a period where we were … just couldn't get it together."

Henderson said she and her husband Lee "hung in there because we love each other".

"We would fight nonstop about nothing," she said.

"We were completely out of sync and frustrated with each other."

Sandilands commented that he could see tears welling up as Henderson talked.

Henderson said that considering a trial separation would not work because they would miss each other after a day.

Sandilands then changed the subject to ask her about Henderson's struggle with weight.
