While the cash rate hasn't budged since November 2023, savings account rates have been anything but steady.
Take bonus saver accounts, for example. Total rates for bonus saver accounts have gone up on average by 0.19 per cent, but base rates — the ones you're stuck with after the intro period or if conditions aren't met — have dropped on average by 0.53 per cent.
