Sydney infant girl suffers horrific burns in kitchen mishap

A 16-month-old girl has been taken to hospital by CareFlight after suffering serious oil burns in western Sydney.
A little girl is being treated for serious burns after spilling a pot full of hot cooking oil over herself in Sydney's far west.
The 16-month-old was at home in Agnes Banks yesterday just before 7.30pm when she pulled the pot down over herself from where it rested on a tea-towel in the kitchen.

She suffered burns to her body, face, neck, legs and arms.
She was airlifted to hospital in a CareFlight helicopter.
It is understood she is in a stable condition.
