Indon lifts import ban on Aussie offal

Indonesia has lifted restrictions on imports of secondary cuts of Australian beef, including lungs and offal.

Acting prime minister Barnaby Joyce, who is also agriculture minister, said lifting the restrictions imposed last year reopened a market worth $42 million in 2014.

Mr Joyce said Indonesia was a traditionally valuable market and exporters now had the opportunity to further expand beef exports.
