Increased powers for sport anti-doping cop
AAP
Australia's sport anti-doping watchdog is to get beefed up powers under proposed new laws.
ASADA's ability to compel witnesses to help with investigations will be strengthened under the legislation which will facilitate better information sharing between the organisation and national sporting bodies.
Increased protections for whistleblowers and others who provide information are also included in the bill introduced in the Senate on Thursday.
