Hydroponic lab, gun found in Vic search

A hydroponic drug lab and a gun have been found during the raid of a Melbourne factory.

Police, including a canine unit, on Thursday conducted a pre-dawn search at the Braeside industrial premises.

A Victoria Police spokeswoman could not confirm if marijuana was found but said a hydroponic set-up and a firearm were recovered.

A 32-year-old Braeside man has been arrested and another man is assisting police.
