Police are analysing what appear to be human remains, found washed up on a Geelong beach.
The remains were located by a fisherman around 11.30am today during low tide on North Shore Beach, near the Esplanade and Sea Breeze Parade.

An investigation is now underway.
The Victoria Police Search and Rescue will be combing the area for further evidence.
