Housemate on the run after Sydney stabbing

Tensions between housemates escalated into a stabbing fight in Sydney's south-west overnight.

Police were called to a Fairfield house around 6pm on Wednesday where they found a 30-year-old with a stab wound to his thigh.

He told them the attacker was his 27-year-old room mate who had driven off after the fight.

A crime scene has been set up and police are making enquiries.
