Legendary horseman killed in house fire
A rodeo and harness racing champion has died in a fire in an Adelaide suburb.
Dick White, 85, lost his life in the Globe Derby Park fire at his home in the city's south.
The blaze started just before 3am on Port Wakefield Road.

Neighbours raised the alarm, but Mr White was trapped in the home and could not be saved.
Investigators have determined the fire was an accident, but do not yet know how it started.
Mr White was survived by his three daughters.
"The girls are very sad, they are taking it to heart a lot," son-in-law Steve Pearson said.

As well as being a rodeo champion, Mr White trained horses and drivers for the harness racing track.
Harness Racing South Australia chief executive Ross Neale said Mr White had trained hundreds of winners.
"The industry will rally around the family and support them as best we can," he said.
