Hospital prepared for grand final fallout

The Royal Hobart Hospital is bracing for a footy grand final onslaught with extra staff on duty and on standby.

Just in case Saturday's AFL grand final celebrations lead to an increase in demand for treatment, the Tasmanian Health Service has been proactive.

"The (hospital) is implementing a range of actions over the weekend to maximise patient flow and ensure people get the care they need in a timely manner," service boss David Alcorn said..
