Hope for families of MH17 victims
A C-17 transporter plane is on standby to bring the Australian victims of flight MH17 home.
Two crash investigators left for Kiev today as part of a 45-strong Australian team of police and victim identification experts now setting up in Ukraine.
The investigators still believe they can complete their work even though Russian-backed rebels have trampled through the site.
