Police are looking for a homeless man over a stabbing murder in Perth.
Officers have appealed to Daniel Carrington, also known as Daniel McKenzie or Macca, 40, to come forward and have warned the public not to approach him.
Benjamin Terry Egan, 38, was found with multiple stab wounds at a short-term accommodation facility in Northbridge at 1.15pm yesterday.
He later died at Royal Perth Hospital.
Detective Senior Sergeant Tom Mills says the two men were known to each other and had both lived at the accommodation facility.
He says Mr Carrington has no fixed address, uses public transport often and frequents the Perth city area, Fremantle and Glendalough.
