Home peppered with bullets in Yagoona, in Sydney’s south west

There’s been a lucky escape for a resident in Sydney’s south west, after a home was peppered with bullets overnight.

Shots were fired into a house on Boardman Street in Yagoona at around 10.30 past night, with police arriving to find a number of bullet holes in the property.

One person was home at the time but managed to escape without injury.

Police have set up a crime scene at the house and an investigation is underway.
