Man charged over alleged one-punch attack at Perth nightclub
Police have charged a man over an alleged one-punch attack on a young father at a nightclub in the Perth suburb of Hillarys.
Kairan Mahia, 29, was left fighting for his life and in an induced coma after the alleged assault.
Doctors said the swelling on his brain remained too severe to wake him.

Mr Mahia is being monitored closely at the Royal Perth Hospital.
A 20-year-old man from the Perth suburb of Butler has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm and stealing.
He was granted bail on Wednesday morning but remained behind bars at Hakea Prison after he was unable to deliver surety.
