The High Court will release its judgment on a challenge to the new Senate voting system on Friday.
Family First senator Bob Day is seeking to quash new laws that allow preferential voting above the line on Senate ballot papers, which will apply at the July 2 double dissolution election.
Senator Day said he had been informed the judgment would be released in Canberra at 10am (AEST) on Friday.
