* 21 cases: Qld 8, NSW 7, Vic 3, WA 1, SA 1, ACT 1

* Linked to Nanna's brand frozen mixed berries, packed in China, imported by Patties Foods

* Chinese-grown raspberries, strawberries and blackberries; blueberries from Chile

* Source of Hepatitis A virus unconfirmed but berries only common exposure

* Precautionary recall of:

- 1kg Nanna's Mixed Berry (best before dates up to Nov 22 2016)

- 1kg Nanna's Raspberries (Sept 15 2016)

- 300g Creative Gourmet mixed berries (Dec 10 2017)

- 500g Creative Gourmet mixed berries (Oct 6 2017)

HEPATITIS A

* Viral disease affecting the liver

* Incubation period of 15-50 days; average 28 days

* People with hepatitis A infectious from two weeks before they show symptoms to one week after they develop symptoms.
