* ORIGIN ENERGY, SANTOS and WOODSIDE ENERGY say they don't have major issues with Australia's tax regime but agree changes need to be considered in an international context.

* SANTOS says it didn't pay tax in Australia last year because of the amount of money it has invested in the Gladstone LNG project

* WOODSIDE won't disclose what its tax rate is in Singapore, where it has a "marketing" hub, claiming it has made a loss since inception.

* BP supports a move to force multinationals operating in Australia to publish tax information but wants to decide how it's presented.
