Heavy delays after multi-car crash on Sydney bridge

Traffic remains heavy on the Ryde Bridge in Sydney after an earlier multi-car crash.

Traffic was backed up for kilometres in all southbound lanes on Concord Road earlier this afternoon as emergency services worked to free a person from a vehicle.

Their condition is currently not known.

Diversions have been lifted but drivers have been asked to allow extra travel time.

Buses in the area have returned to their regular routes.
