Harry Potter fans can now discover their ‘Patronus’ online

Harry Potter fans can now discover their personalised magical animal guardian, or ‘Patronus’, in an online test.
J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter book series, took to social media last night to make the special announcement that fans could take the “Patronus Test”.
The news delighted devotees of the series, with more than 8,000 twitter users ‘liking’ the post.
Available on the Pottermore website, the Patronus test takes users through an animated forest, where they are prompted to select a series of words.
A personalised Patronus, or ‘animal guardian’, is born from the results, and can then be shared on social media.
Despite earlier reports from satirical website The Chive, ill-fated gorilla Harambe is not included as a Patronus.
The tweet prompted Rowling to clarify, “Harambe is not a Patronus you can actually get”.
“I thought it was very funny, btw (by the way),” she added in another Twitter post.
The Patronus spell was first introduced to readers in the third instalment of the Harry Potter books, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azakaban.
