Hammer out changes: PM to media bosses
AAP
Prime Minister Tony Abbott has urged media company chiefs to hammer out changes that are good for everyone before the federal government considers them.
Regional television broadcaster Prime and WIN are preparing to launch an advertising campaign next week pressuring Mr Abbott to rethink his opposition to unwinding the two-thirds ownership rule and reach rules.
"I would urge all of those who would like to see change here, to sit down, hammer out something which is good for everyone ... and once that's done, obviously the government is prepared to look at it," he told reporters on the NSW central coast on Thursday.
