Half of Aussies suffer chronic disease

Half of all Australians are suffering at least one chronic disease, new figures show.
And one in five have at least two chronic conditions, including diabetes, mental illness and cardiovascular disease.
Health Minister Sussan Ley says the figures released by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare on Wednesday highlight the need to reform primary health care.
