Guns stolen from NSW property

A collection of rifles and shotguns has been stolen from a property in the NSW Hunter Valley, police say.

The resident of the Upper Rouchel Road home, about 25km east of Aberdeen, noticed a safe in his shed had been forced open about 10am on Sunday.

Six guns, including four rifles and two shotguns, were stolen.

Hunter Valley Local Area Command detectives are seeking help from anyone who may have information about the theft or saw anything suspicious.
