Gun wielding man robs WA car park patron

Two men have been charged with aggravated armed robbery after they allegedly held up a woman in a Perth car park in a brazen daylight attack.

Police said the incident occurred at about 3:15pm Wednesday on Resort Drive, Burswood.

The 55-year-old victim allegedly saw one of the men trying to break into a vehicle as she was walking to her car.

As she was preparing to leave the car park, a vehicle pulled up next to her and one of the men got out of the passenger side, smashed her car window and threatened her with a gun, demanding she give him her purse and handbag.

The men, aged 23 and 35, then fled but the vehicle was later stopped and they were taken into custody.

Both are due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on Thursday.
