Sydney home gutted in early morning blaze

A vacant house in the Sydney suburb of Greenacre has been destroyed by fire in the early hours of this morning.

Police were called to the Noble Avenue property at around 4.30am, where they found the single-storey house consumed by flames.

The house is believed to have been vacant for two months.

Investigators have so far been unable to enter the home or determine the cause of the fire.
