‘No shoes, no parties’: Grant Hackett’s super-strict AirBnB rules
Former Olympian Grant Hackett infamously trashed his own Melbourne apartment during an argument with then-wife Candice Alley in 2012 - but the swimming great is somewhat stricter on guests in his Gold Coast Airbnb property.
The gold medallist owns a three-bedroom beachside property in Mermaid Beach that is available for rent from $300 to $700 a night.
However, Hackett has a set of strict rules in place for would-be renters.
They include no parties or events, no shoes on the carpets, and a strict embargo on basement use.
Unfortunately for sports fans, the property is managed externally, so the odds of Hackett showing guests around in person are non-existent.
Hackett himself spends most of his time in Melbourne.
