Man critically injured in Gold Coast stabbing

Police are investigating a possible stabbing after a man was found critically injured on a Gold Coast street early this morning.

Emergency crews were called to Millbrook Crescent in Pimpama after the 33-year-old was found with puncture wounds to his chest just after midnight.

Detectives believe the man was in a fight with someone known to him and that person ran from the scene after he was injured.

He is currently in hospital in a critical condition.
