Thieves on the run after ram raid on Gold Coast jeweller
Two thieves remain on the run this evening after driving a stolen car through a shopping centre and smashing into a jeweller on the Gold Coast this morning.
The stolen red Mazda sedan smashed through the glass doors of the Stockland Burleigh shopping centre and then through the doors of Prouds jeweller about 3.30am today.
After raiding the store, the pair took off in a white sedan.

Investigators are looking into whether the raid is linked to ram raids at Prouds stores in August and January last year.
