Gold Coast commuters stuck in M1 traffic delays after truck fire

Early Gold Coast commuters headed southbound on the M1 faced delays of up to two hours this morning after a truck burst into flames.
Video obtained by 9News shows drivers forced to dodge the roadside fireball at Molendinar just after 6am.
Traffic was backed up for kilometres as tow truck drivers removed the smouldering truck.

The truck caught fire on the M1 early this morning. Nine
The driver was uninjured.
Congestion has since eased.
