One of the Gold Coast's biggest mansions, which is rumoured to have hosted some of Hollywood's biggest stars, is hitting the market.

Standing tall on the region's largest inner-city waterfront parcel, the Bartinon Mansion is set to go under the hammer for the first time in over a decade.

"I've been doing this for nearly 20 years and this is the first time I have seen something like this," real estate agent Sam Guo of luxury firm Kollosche said.
