Students evacuated after Gold Coast school goes up in flames
Students at a primary school on the Gold Coast have been evacuated after a fire tore through the premises just before lunchtime.
Emergency crews rushed to the Labrador State School on Imperial Parade, in the city's north, just after 11.50am today where they found a demountable had been engulfed by flames.
It's understood the school's community gardens and well as a kitchen facility were damaged as a result of the blaze.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) said investigations were underway into the cause of the fire.
The blaze had eventually been extinguished by 12.10pm.
