Teenage girl caught driving on disqualified licence seven times in one month

A teenage girl will face a Sydney children's court after being caught driving on a disqualified licence for the seventh time in a month.

The 16-year-old was riding a black trail bike, while carrying another girl on the back, when she was pulled over on the busy O'Riordan Street in Mascot on Tuesday morning.

Both girls were not wearing helmets, police said.

The 16-year-old driver was arrested on the spot after police realised she was allegedly driving on a disqualified licence for the seventh time in the past month.

She was charged with drive whilst disqualified, rider without helmet ride with one passenger without helmet, use unregistered Class A motor vehicle, use uninsured vehicle on road, disobey no right turn sign and breach of bail.

She will appear at a children's court Wednesday.
