A German woman has been charged over a fatal crash in South Australia's outback on Monday.

A 23-year-old man, also from Germany, died in the single-car crash on the Stuart Highway, about 50km south of Glendambo.

The 18-year-old German tourist has been charged with an aggravated count of driving without due care and driving while unlicensed.
