Gay activists appear to have created a new website in the name of conservative Liberal senator Cory Bernardi.

While there are few details published on corybernardi.com.au so far, the site features a rainbow flag and the message "compassion lives here".

The statement is a play on the "common sense lives here" tag line on Senator Bernardi's actual website corybernardi.com.
