G20 summit to be celebrated on stamp

The upcoming G20 Leaders' Summit in Brisbane will be celebrated with a commemorative 70 cent stamp.

The meeting in November will bring the leaders of the biggest economies in the world together for the first time in Australia.

Australia Post will launch a stamp featuring Brisbane's skyline in a transparent sphere with "G20 Summit 2014" written underneath.

The design of the stamp was the result of a competition held across the country's secondary schools.

The winning design was created by MacKillop College in Werribee, Victoria.

The commemorative stamp will go on sale from June 3.
