Fourth charged over neighbourhood dispute

A fourth person has been charged over a vicious neighbourhood dispute that left several people in hospital, including one woman who was stabbed with a screwdriver in the eye.

Police on Tuesday said a 44-year-old woman had been charged with common assault and affray over the dispute on Sunday afternoon in Sydney's southwest.

The woman was given strict bail conditions and was set to appear at Bankstown Local Court on Thursday.

A father and his two sons have already faced Bankstown Local Court charged with intent to murder over what was described as a "barbaric" neighbourhood dispute which erupted in front of a Yagoona address before 3pm on Sunday.

The court heard the three men - aged 47, 23 and 21 - allegedly armed themselves with knives and a screwdriver before attacking two neighbours.

A 16-year-old boy was stabbed several times including in his stomach, left forearm, left thigh, chest and back.

His 24-year-old sister was left with a seven-centimetre cut to the left side of her head, stab wounds to the left armpit and above right knee, and a small cut to her left eyelid.

The 24-year-old woman and her teenage brother remain in a serious but stable condition.
