Brisbane girl, four, 'showed signs of neglect' as father is accused of murder
Police will allege a four-year-old girl found dead in a Brisbane home showed signs of neglect, as authorities confirmed they previously had contact with the family.
Mark James Dunn, 43, is accused of murdering his daughter, Willow, and has been remanded in custody.
Willow, who had an intellectual disability, was found face down in her cot on Monday morning.

It's alleged she was there for several days and showed signs of malnourishment, neglect and had sores on her body.
The Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women said it had contact with the Dunn family in the past but would not comment further, citing the police investigation.

Police established a crime scene at the Cannon Hill home on Monday after the girl was found dead about 9.20am.
Officers spent several hours door-knocking neighbours' homes while detectives and forensic officers remained at the house into the night.
But police allege the girl was murdered on or about Saturday, May 23, at the home.

Officers cordoned off a street in the eastern Brisbane suburb as detectives investigated.
Mr Dunn was denied bail when he was arrested on Monday.
Mr Dunn's case was adjourned and he will reappear in the same court on July 20.
Police said on Monday afternoon the girl's family was "assisting" with the investigation.
