While the popular talent show won’t air until next year, auditions for the new season of Australia’s Got Talent have already begun in Melbourne this weekend.
Celebrity judges Kelly Osbourne, Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson, Eddie Perfect and Sophie Monk have gathered at Her Majesty’s Theatre to judge people of all ages who want to try their luck at impressing with their feats of dancing, singing, magic, comedy, and everything in between.
Host Dave Hughes said he was surprised how enjoyable the experience was.
“I thought it’d be fun but I had no idea how much fun. I love it!” he said.
The popular stand-up comedian joked that his kids will finally be happy he’s taken a job they will enjoy.
“I can’t wait to see it on TV, and finally my kids will be proud of their dad!” he said.
The show’s auditions continue in Melbourne this Tuesday and Wednesday and seats to watch the show are still available for free online.
