Four men have been arrested as part of an investigation into alleged drug supply chains in Sydney’s north-west.

A 35-year-old and three 29-year-old men were arrested during raids on several locations in the Blacktown-Seven Hills area today.

All four have been charged with various counts of supplying prohibited drugs.

Superintendent Gary Merryweather said the investigation involved "quite significant amounts of drugs".

"We are talking large quantities – supply matters," he said.

"We are talking the level above street level."

Police launched a Crime Stoppers initiative in the area earlier this year and said the information received from the public helped to initiate and direct the investigation.

Search warrants have also been executed at further properties in the area and have allegedly produced several illegal items, including drugs.

"There will be further arrests in relation to the evidence that’s already been obtained throughout this investigation," Supt Merryweather said.

The four men are expected to be refused bail to appear in court tomorrow.
