Four injured after truck's concrete pump explodes in Melbourne CBD
Four workers have been injured after a truck's concrete pump exploded in Melbourne's CBD this morning.
Emergency crews rushed to the construction site on Bourke Street just after 8.50am today, following a triple-zero call reporting an explosion had injured workers.
"It is believed the pump line of a concrete truck blew out injuring four workers," Victoria Police said in a statement.

"WorkSafe has been notified and will be investigating."
9News understands at least two men suffered facial injuries from the blast.
Firefighters arrived at the scene within five minutes, assessing multiple patients before they were transferred into the care of paramedics.

"Firefighters investigated the concrete truck for any further danger, and the incident was brought under control within seven minutes," Fire Rescue Victoria said.
A man in his 30s and another man in his 20s were taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with upper body injuries.
Two other men, both believed to be aged in their 30s, were also treated for upper body injuries and taken to The Alfred Hospital.
