The estranged wife of former AFL star Ricky Olarenshaw has been charged with running an illegal brothel in Bali.
Nitha Olarenshaw is facing up to 12 years in Kerobokan Prison after a judge today rejected her request to challenge her status as a suspect in the case.
Mrs Olarenshaw was hoping to escape prosecution over dealings at Seminyak massage parlour Flame Spa, which was allegedly offering sex services to tourists.

Her lawyers launched a motion in the Denpasar District Court, claiming she was framed and her ex-husband was the mastermind behind the brothel.
But today the Judge ruled that naming Mrs Olarenshaw as a suspect is fair at this stage and there's enough evidence to support a trial.
Outside court, her lawyer Manaon Damianus Sirait said he was "certainly disappointed" with the decision.

The social media influencer was ordered to pay around 50 cents in court fees and will remain in custody at the main Balinese police station until her trial, which could happen at the end of this month.
