Five injured after bus collides with ute in Sydney CBD

Five people have been taken to hospital after a mini-bus crashed into a ute in Sydney’s CBD.

The vehicles collided on the corner of Elizabeth and Market Streets about 4pm.

The driver was trapped for some time, before being freed and taken to hospital with leg injuries.

Four other people are being treated for neck injuries and back pain.

One of two northbound lanes was closed on Elizabeth Street while two of three southbound lanes were also closed.

Debris has been cleared from the crash scene and all lanes have since been reopened, but motorists have been warned of traffic delays in the area.
