Five bikie gang associates charged following NSW raids

Five people connected to the Nomads and Finks outlaw bikie gangs have been charged following raids in New South Wales’ Hunter Valley region today.

Organised crime detectives raided five properties – in Gillieston Heights, Raymond Terrace, Rutherford and Telarah – from 8am.

They seized two firearms including a loaded sawn-off shot gun, as well as Tasers and stockpiles of ammunition.

Large wads of cash and drugs including cannabis, methylamphetamine, steroids and MDMA were also discovered and seized.

Three men, aged 23, 25 and 27, and two women, aged 31 and 32, were arrested and charged with a range of offences.

Four of the alleged offenders will appear in court tomorrow and one will appear in December.
