Five people arrested in Melbourne northern suburb police chase
Five people have been arrested after a dramatic police pursuit in Melbourne's north this afternoon.
Police on patrol spotted a stolen vehicle on Barry Road in Meadow Heights about 11.25am.
The car was monitored by police until it was dumped in a carpark off Plenty Road in Bundoora and the driver was picked up by another vehicle.

Police monitored the second vehicle until a pursuit was initiated and the vehicle was intercepted on the Northern Ring Road about 12.35pm.
Two males and three females have been taken into custody and are assisting police with their enquiries.
A woman was assessed by paramedics at the scene, but was not transported to hospital.
Two police vehicles were damaged, but no one was injured during the incident.
