Man charged with murder after woman dies in small WA town
A man has been charged with murder after a woman was found dead in a small town in the Kimberly region of Western Australia.
Police were called to a home in Fitzroy Crossing, 400 kilometres east of Broome about 11pm on Saturday, December 14 after reports of a disturbance.
When they arrived at the house on Flynn Drive, they found a 32-year-old woman unresponsive.

Paramedics treated the woman at the home but she could not be revived.
A 35-year-old man from Derby who is known to the woman was taken into police custody.
He has since been charged with murder and was expected to appear in Broome Magistrates Court today.
An investigation into the woman's death is ongoing.
