A Rohingya man who fled Myanmar in the hope of reaching Australia has volunteered for resettlement under a deal negotiated between Canberra and Phnom Penh.
The Cambodian Interior Ministry said it had found its first volunteer among the hundreds of refugees and asylum seekers on Nauru.
"He will stay there until he gets the green light," ministry spokesman General Khieu Sopheak told The Cambodia Daily.
