Melbourne's Red Spice Road restaurant evacuated due to fire

About 150 diners have been evacuated from Red Spice Road after a fire broke out in the Melbourne CBD restaurant.
Six fire crews were called to the scene on McKillop St, off Bourke St, and evacuated the restaurant, the Melbourne Fire Brigade tweeted.
Bourke Street has been closed to traffic Docklands-bound, but trams have not been affected.

The fire is sending thick smoke over nearby streets, with witness Brendan Park tweeting an image of the haze.
The blaze broke out about 2pm (AEDT) and fire crews remain at the scene.
