Fire destroys boat at Melbourne marina

Fire has destroyed a large boat moored at a Melbourne marina.

The 17-metre pleasure craft was fully involved when Country Fire Authority crews arrived at the Patterson Lakes marina early on Tuesday.

The fire also caused minor damage to two other boats nearby, a CFA spokeswoman said.

The CFA and police will investigate the cause of the fire.

Seven fire trucks remain on the scene.
